SalemNet was where broad technical curiosity became daily work. Projects ranged from desktop support and network configuration to structured cabling, surveillance, access control, VoIP, distributed audio, and automation.
The work included direct client projects and subcontract work with companies including Intellitech and Simply Tech in the Detroit area. Environments ranged from high-end residential systems to larger commercial installations.
What I took from it
Working independently meant the handoff between disciplines was rarely someone else’s problem. The practical lesson was to understand the whole path—from the cable and device to the network, configuration, user, and ongoing support.
